New unlimited data package without expiry date
Finally, Grameenphone, the only SMP mobile operator, launched a new unlimited data package with state-owned telecom operator Teletalk. In the new package, 4 data packages of new unlimited duration have been introduced through 6, 15, 26 and 40 GB packages.
Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has launched these three new packages through these two mobile operators considering the interests of mobile phone customers of the country.
The packages launched by mobile operator Grameenphone Ltd are respectively: 40 GB for Taka 1,199 and 15 GB data for Taka 549. Besides, Teletalk Bangladesh Limited has launched 6 GB data package for 127 taka and 26 GB data package for 309 taka.
On April 28, 2022, according to the instructions of BTRC, the country's mobile operators provided the first unlimited period data package in the market. Other operators will also introduce new unlimited data packages in phases.
Customers enjoying unlimited data packages will follow the existing SIM recycle process and guidelines as applicable.
